Long time lurker just wanted to post that I sent mine into PCGS did the registration on paper in just shipped it never did this before Coin was picked up November 30 and I was sent email on Dec 4 with the Welcome to Collectors Club and my card was charged for silver and my Submission is marked in process as Express
I never marked anything on my box it's why I am making this post saw some concern with people thinking a express order would not get found due to EXP not being marked on box did not know to do this when I shipped it off
I can only imagine PCGS and NGC are getting overwhelmed right now
Stupid question when shipping to PCGS is it ok to just leave the word PCGS out and just use the PO box Number? Having PCGS marked on a box made me paranoid lol

Well, my order is now in PCGS limbo. A week before sending in the ASE I called customer service and put a CC on file. When I filled out the form I checked the CCOF box, provided last 4 and signature. 12/3/19 I receive an email from a "problem specialist", there's a problem, I don't have a CC on file. I call customer service and they say there is a CC on file and there is no problem. "Problem specialist" emails again says there isn't and this needs to be resolved. call customer service again and they say there is a CC on file, no problems.... I think I can probably forget about getting it back before the holidays.

Morgan's dad. Not sure what you mean by "shady" on that auction. Seller has a score of 2500, 1200 current positive feedbacks, no neutrals or negatives and been a seller on ebay since 2005. I'm sure he has buyers over the last 14 years that trust him to run legit with that much history that feel safe spending money on something he sells and are repeat buyers. As far as bidding goes I mean, anything is possible, but people do put a maximum bid and until someone goes over it their bid still stands as top bid, when it's passed maybe they come back and set another higher one. Totally possible this is legit. Now if the seller was new or low rated or negatives or neutral feedbacks I'd say something shady going on with that much action on a bad sellers offering. We don't know, obviously, but I don't see anything fishy with an ebay seller with 14 years of history and thousands of positive sales, or his repeat customers that trust him. It looks legit to me but I'm no professional. If I could afford it I would of bid on it and felt safe about it. Lol

Misfit: That's crazy...sounds like a bit of a lack of communication.
Is there a way to answer the email from the "problem creator...oops...specialist" directly rather than getting another department involved?
On the NGC online submission form they have you write in your CC and sign...no online CC input and no CC on file.
Haven't done a PCGS sub for some time so not familiar with that process...
Good luck....

Quote: You mean the "Auction Ended"
Doesn't mean it actually sold. No...it sold... to a dealer with a feedback number in excess of 48,000

Quote: Well, my order is now in PCGS limbo. Just tell them to delete the card and then give them new payment info.

My submission just showed up on NGC's site this morning and the package reached them on Monday, so 3-4 business days seems to be the processing time right now for them to process packages into their system.
I can also breathe easier knowing NGC officially acknowledged they have it in their possession and it's no longer sitting in limbo somewhere.
FWIW, mine is showing 2 items also, likely including the CoA.
Edit: I forgot today is Thursday, not Wednesday (so had to edit my original post).

ETA: The invoice number became a hyperlink and shows the second item was the CoA. darn! lol ETA: And just checked, now it went from "received" to "scheduled for grading". Idk how fast that usually changes, but seems relatively fast considering it wasn't even in their system last night to now being scheduled for grading over the course of a couple of hours.

Scheduled for grading for them just means it's in the system and waiting in line now.

As long as it's processed and in line to be graded and not sitting in the package in their receiving room, I'm fine with that.

Looks like things were fixed at PCGS, status now says "in process" when I checked my account online. Quote: On the NGC online submission form they have you write in your CC and sign...no online CC input and no CC on file. The PCGS form has a line to write in card information, I just don't like writing in card info and sending in the mail, seems so... 80's

Mine was also received Monday, entered in system Wednesday and now showing scheduled for grading. Though I did choose express, I'm really just glad it didn't take a week to show up in the system like the CSR estimated.
