HI Guys

I am a rookie so please do not be offended by my questions as I am still learning. I live in Canada and found this American dollar in a roll of loonies. It is a beautiful piece for a circulated dollar. It is very shiny almost mirror like with strong detailing. Read lots of history on it , however want your professional advise as to what kind or errors or damage this coin would be considered. There is one small "arrow" in the belly of the eagle but from my reading it seems it is post damage and does not have three "arrow" There are also other issues with it which I want to get advise on. Lastly on the net there are prices from $1 to $500 for this coin. WHat is the value roughly taking into consideration your findings

Other than a few hits, as with the star you've shown, nothing else looks odd or out of place.

What do you think it is worth or is it even worth holding onto given the few hits it has taken

It is a common coin that has circulated. There is absolutely nothing wrong in keeping it as part of your collection.

But I would guess it will be many decades before it is worth more than a dollar, and after inflation, even less than that.

It sounds to me like Humble thought he found a Wounded Eagle Sac.
That link from John1 doesn't mention that variety.

Biggest thing to look for in a 2000P Sac dollar is an 'arrow' going through the eagles chest to the left wing or if the tail has vertical lines in the fins.
