Waiting on my proof set to come in with the proof W penny.
This uncirculated W penny came with the uncirculated set.
Saving up for the Silver Proof set which will come with the reverse proof W penny. Enjoy the pics

I just bought a slabbed PF69 of the Reverse Proof. I plan of buying the other two as MS, and PF69 each.

That W looks so unbelievably strange on a Lincoln. Waiting for the prices to settle down. Might take a couple years, but patience is a collectors best friend. With those montages there will be plenty floating around.

about letting the prices settle. I'm (fairly) patient.

I saw 10 go for sale at $160. Considering there are literally 100's of thousands of them (based on number of mint sets sold) the price seems unrealistic. I would understand $5 a penny (comparable to other proof coins) as not everyone wants a mint set but at $16 a penny no.

I will state the prices have dropped from $19 to ~ $15 so they are getting better.

I bought one in MS69 PCGS,$34.90 BIN. Yes many were minted, but not many grade 69 or 70 in MS. 1,893 in MS69 none in 70.

I'm on the fence about getting the silver proof set, is the reverse W coin that nice? Is the silver proof set even worth it?

I get the proof sets anyway and want both proof and clad versions.

It was the uncirculated mint set I had to get that I normally do not.

After picking up both proof editions from my LCS, I convinced him to sell me the Mint Set one, too. The reverse proof does look really nice.
