1971 D "god We Trust" Variety Ike

Yellowtail New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 09/12/2019 02:18 am Hello Everyone, Looking through some Ike's and saw something I have never seen or heard of before. My 1971 D reads "God We Trust" not "In God We Trust" on the observe of my coin. Has anyone seen or heard of this before? Can't find any info on it myself as of yet. Is this a known variety or error? Second, I agree that while pics are needed to confirm, this does sound most likely as though your coin was struck with a little grease in the die.
