I sent coins to be graded by anacs and a few of them came back as cleaned or polished I know this is not desirable. How much of value is lost for example 1894-o graded AU-50 Coin World shows the value as $150. what is it worth cleaned?
Rest in Peace

There is no numerical formulas for determining details coin values. The scarcer the coin, the better percentage you can expect.

There are many kinds of cleaning. The type of cleaning also helps determine value.

Show us photos and we can help more.

Really bad cleaning could sent its value down to bullion value.

For a cleaned coin I start at 50% of catalog and work DOWN from there.
