Even the blind chicken gets a grain of wheat some times ...

I can't believe that no one else caught this auction, but I bid on a 1968 mint set (D&S) on ebay and scored it at 99 cents, below the face value of the coins! The dealer was very gracious about the deal ... maybe because I also won an assembly of Mercury dimes from him. A number of coin dealers start many of their ebay auctions at 99 cents, I notice, and eventually some are not going to attract bidders. You just have to "be there" to take advantage of them.

Nice! I've waited at the "ending soonest" side of ebay and picked up various coins that way.

I'm doing that now with one auction. You just have to watch for the "S&H". I saw one auction for .99 but the S&H was 6k or some stupid figure like that.
