I was going after two different proof Seated Liberty quarters on a site and realized that both coins had sold when I was looking for them early this afternoon. I contacted the seller and put this piece on layaway right away. Not going 0 for 3!! It's a nice colorful piece. These are the seller's photo and ones I found for a recent auction for the piece. Pics when it arrives.

Nice addition, though personally, I would have passed due to the plethora of hairlines on the reverse.

1,355 minted.....take away the hairlines the price goes up. This one filled a slot for the color and got myself the pedigree of a known collection. I wish I could get the best all the time, but for these I'll take what I can get or it'll take me 30-40 years to get all the proof seated liberty from 1858 to 1891. I have 4 and counting. I'll upgrade along the way when I can. Let's see what my photos show when it arrives.

Of all the variations of toning these could acquire over many years, the subtle even golden color makes these pop. Especially for proof coins. A pleasure drooling over another of your posts.

Do you mean you have 4 years left to live, or you have 4 proof Liberty Seated quarters?

A fine selection. I'm a little surprised that it didn't Cameo. Maybe just the photos.

@JustCarl. The seller's photo and the auction photos . The PCGS cert verify identified a recent auction. This coin was not listed on ebay. It's on layaway. First payment on Friday and I'll pay it off in a week or two.
