If that color is accurate, I don't care for it all - too yellowish.

I like the color, but if I saw this coin outside the slab, I would wonder if the toning was natural. What do others think?

it you look at the coin in the actual holder its not as yellow. nickel can tone golden so the color is not that bad. I'm just not a fan of the obverse due to the striations across it. I think the seller probably has been holding this for a while and unable to sell it so they are discounting it a good bit. they have a 30 day return policy so it may be worth it to see what it looks like in hand

24-S did have strike issues. The lighting in the photos makes the coin look yellow but I'm sure it is the color it should be. VF-35 seems right.

I would have liked to see more horn detail for a 35 .

I don't think this one had much horn detail the day it left the Mint.

I found the coin in a Heritage Auction earlier this year. The coin, as presented by Heritage, has *very* light toning, nothing like the color in the ad. I have no idea why the seller would post the golden/yellow photo, which looked somewhat suspicious to me.
