You have to figure in the condition, level and type of error and rarity. Also, this area on the reverse of a Memorial cent is opposite the deepest area on the obverse. spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 09/21/2019 02:43 am As Yokozuna points out, that area on the reverse is opposite the largest/highest relief area of the obverse. I don't believe it's even a grease error. It's just a weak strike. The Memorial steps are also probably weak, especially near the bottom, because that's another point (opposite Abe's head) affected by relief during striking.
