This coin feels like it's slighting soucered, no damage to the rim, doesn't seem to be man made. Also the coin has very little wear anywhere on it except in the United States of the Reverse

Blockage I believe is the term Struck Through Grease most likely by the of on reverse and a nice fingerprint on the obverse always personally thought it would be fun to track down the people who leave such an impression on coins and thank them

Grease filled errors are quite common. It would be hard to sell this coin for a premium. You have to figure in the condition, level and type of error and rarity.

Also, this area on the reverse of a Memorial cent is opposite the deepest area on the obverse. The letters STATES OF are weak on lots of LMCs.

Edit: added comments.

It's worth keeping as a good example of a Grease Filled Die, although the monetary value is negligible.

As Yokozuna points out, that area on the reverse is opposite the largest/highest relief area of the obverse. I don't believe it's even a grease error. It's just a weak strike. The Memorial steps are also probably weak, especially near the bottom, because that's another point (opposite Abe's head) affected by relief during striking.

Weak strikes are notorious for happening on the reverse. It's very common. See it all of the time CRH.

Also grease will add to the weakness on this area. Very common to find. No premium.
