I follow the results in the roll hunters posts. Wheats, foreign and coppers.
With so many coppers found, what are you guys doing with them?
I have a few rolls saved by year and I'm getting ready to return them to the bank. What about you other searchers that are posting results?

I toss em. People save them for the copper value, but I don't think it's worth it. Even I'd they made melting down copper pennies legal, the influx of copper would collapse the price, making it a mute point.
Rest in Peace

unless you need ballast, no reason to save them.

I thought that might be the case but then why count them in the totals found?

Some people save their fingernails clippings.

Saving doesn't produce value.

Someone in the Knoxville area was advertising 225,000 LMC 1959-1982 for 2 cents each. Thats a lot of searching or use of some sort of machine?

I only keep BU+ specimens, errors, varieties, and those strongly toned (have come across a few). Occasionally will keep badly damaged LMCs when they have interesting eye appeal. I don't hoard for copper.

I do not want them to get melted, so I save them for now. I am not doing CRH, so this is just from change which means I do not have a lot of them stored up.
