I follow the results in the roll hunters posts. Wheats, foreign and coppers. With so many coppers found, what are you guys doing with them? I have a few rolls saved by year and I'm getting ready to return them to the bank. What about you other searchers that are posting results?
I toss em. People save them for the copper value, but I don't think it's worth it. Even I'd they made melting down copper pennies legal, the influx of copper would collapse the price, making it a mute point.
I only keep BU+ specimens, errors, varieties, and those strongly toned (have come across a few). Occasionally will keep badly damaged LMCs when they have interesting eye appeal. I don't hoard for copper.
I do not want them to get melted, so I save them for now. I am not doing CRH, so this is just from change which means I do not have a lot of them stored up.
