Date On 1881 Indian Head Penny - Coin Community Forum

TGracia New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 09/21/2019 8:23 pm I have an Indian Head penny but I can't tell what the date is. It looks like 1881 or 1891. If it is 1881 the 8's do not look the same but if it's a 9 the loop closes like an 8 which is why I need help. I'm just getting into coin collecting - inherited family coins.
