Hi all, thinking about submitting this GSA hoard 1884 cc morgan to PCGS. Please grade this coin/ what you think PCGS will grade it and advise if I should send it in or not. Thank you.

If that vertical cut to the chin that shows in the second pic is on the coin, then 63 tops. That's pretty severe.

Darned baggy cheek. Beautiful reverse, but if it hit 63, be thankful.

I agree, MS63. Probably a $180 -200 coin as it is or graded, so not worth sending in. Still, any MS CC coin is nice :) a piece of history.

MS63 obverse, MS65 reverse. While it meets the value criteria often set for being a candidate for TPG grading there are literally thousands of 1884-CC Morgans in the 62-64 grade level. You would be looking at a negative return on that investment....

MS-63, I'd save the money on the grading fees.
