I think NGC is too low on this.

The price is even high for an XF-40.
I suspect the toning is, in part, responsible for the VF-35 grade.
Definite lack of any eye appeal.

eye appeal is low. even if this was cracked out and resubbed it even has a chance to come back as cleaned. if it would come back in a 40 holder straight its still overpriced. not worth looking at this one

The coin looks completely original to me. What I don't like is the rim damage on the obverse between the 7 and 8 O'Clock position. Also some rim bumps on the reverse. Definitely over priced and in my opinion should have been a "details" holder.

Very nice coin, agree with the grade, probably priced at XF40.

Looks right for grade, but there are some wicked rim bumps. I'd definitely pass at that price.
