2005 D Buffalo Nickel Unplated - Coin Community Forum

BillOfRights New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 09/25/2019 5:41 pm I decided to search through some U.S. Mint 2005 Buffalo nickel rolls I had put away for a rainy day. My hope was to discover a speared bison. That I didn't discover but surprisingly I came across an unplated nickel in the roll. I quickly placed in a flip for safekeeping. How common are unplated coins? I ask because I have discovered a couple lately while searching quarter rolls. Keep searching, they're out there. Bill Report this Post to the Staff
