Ok I have to admit I am lost on this one picked up a mixed bag of coins simply because of a 1/4 real that was with it. Included in the lot was a 1939 20 cent. Looking it up has been interesting to say the least. Coin in question has dots by date which it shouldnt and no security edge like it should I'm simply puzzled because I cant find nothing like it online not even counterfeits that are similar is it an altered date possibly or what? Please help 5.93g in weight as opposed to the 3g even it should weigh. If ye say it's fake show me an example of it as such please.shown different angles and lights. Coin orientation is correct does seem to be something happening on the edge.

French Indo-China,
KM23a.1 - more common copper nickel type, with date between the dots.
