I recently had the opportunity to purchase this denarius.
Mars holds the figure of Virtus of Victoria ? and VICTOR.
Perhaps this is an unofficial issue? Is there any idea about the mint?

The figure does appear to be Mars and the legend MARTI VICTOR fits. Denarii with that legend were issued from the Emerita mint with a different reverse design, but the coins from that mint are a bit irregular, so being from a provincial mint could explain the slightly degenerate style.

Sorry, but I can not find any info concerning Septimius Severus Emerita issues.
May be you mean Emesa mint ?

I do mean Emesa mint - the Pescennius Niger reverse is close in design, but the obverse legend on here matches Septimius Severus at Emesa - IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG COS...

The coinage of the two are very similar because Pescennius Niger only controlled the East and Septimius Severus set about issuing his own coinage throughout the region when he showed up to fight. A lot of the coinage from Emesa reference Victory and Mars, perhaps a statement from Severus, having won the war.

Obv:- IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG COS II, laureate head right
Rev:- MART VICTOR, Mars, in military attire, standing left, holding Victory and spear
Minted in Emesa, A.D. 194 - 195.
References :- BMCRE -. RIC -. RSC -.

Like mine from a different die pair. I saw an example with a double die match to mine sell recently too.
