Hi all,

I uses the US Coin Grading to grade my coins yet I'm trying to find a coin value guide that matches the grading scale provided on Coin Community.

I like sprucecrafts.com because is shows a Sell and Buy price yet it's limited to Circulated and Uncirculated.

I found Coinweek's list of Coin Price Guides yet cannot find one that straight forward ties to Coin Community Family nor could I find one in the coin forum, so far.

I would appreciate some guidance.

Thanks!

Spruce is a terrible place for values. eg; recent sales on ebay shows that a circulated '39D 5c going

between 3.-48. Circulated '82, between 1.-15. I remember when blue Ikes were commonly 20; while now, as little as 5.

To me, there is nothing more useful as recent sold items.
Rest in Peace

Numismedia is certainly best for all around retail prices.

I also agree that ebay sold listings are best for common and even scarce coins.

However, ebay does not do nearly so well in helping with some rare issues. Today I tried to use ebay for several rare coins (less than 20 graded in grade) and none of them had been sold on ebay anytime recently.

Heritage SOLD helped me with all of them.

Common stuff-eBay sold. Rare stuff - Heritage SOLD.
Rest in Peace

Also should mention to use the most recent filter at Heritage.

Thanks all, and I understand the point that when you're valuing a coin for sale, current sells are the best. Will clearly be my approach as I approach selling any of my collection.

But, I'm not there yet. I'm trying to go through an inventory of coins I inherited to generally characterize what I have so to search on each coin would be daunting and very time consuming.

Got it on sprucecrafts, they're out the window.

On NumisMedia free version, above each column is FMV with the rating partially cut off. I could see the edge of the rating so I copied and pasted into Excel to see the ratings, yet, again, cumbersome.

I'm beginning to think the best approach it to buy the current "Official Red Book" which will get me in the ball park.

Thanks again for your responses!
