I hope this is the right forum to post this. I know nothing about this area of collecting. The token is 35 mm long, 26 mm deep and is 2 mm thick. It has nice patina but I know that's meaningless. Any history on this one? Is it even real? All replies appreciated!

The seam, casting bubbles and voids would suggest a cast copy or replica. I am not familiar with this particular token, but it does not look authentic.

Thanks, paralyse! I see so much confederate material that's copied and this one is a new one to me. I don't even know if this particular item ever even existed.

being cast I would also agree that it is a copy.

Just arrived .... Yep, a modern fantasy piece. Pieces like this typically start out at flea markets.

Thanks to all for the great information! Wouldn't it be nice if we could force all fantasy item creators to impress some sort of tiny logo on everything they produce?
