I was going through some old pocket change and had this quarter that I was checking for the DDO with the faucet in the window happened to realize it appears that there is an extra leaf on the bottom right stalk. Did research but do not see this as an error anywhere so now I'm not so sure about it.

I guess maybe I'm not sure. I'm not too familiar with what coin contact would look like. I'm assuming it would be able to raise it up like that?

Maybe a die chip if it's raised. I've seen a few of the Homestead quarters with chips on them in similar locations.

Yeah This part is raised up. I was kind of thinking the same thing as well maybe a die chip?
