I came across this penny and would like to find out if it is indeed an error?
On obverse: 1. the "er" on liberty looks non existent, almost like something else was in the way when it was struck
2. The shape of penny seems more oblong than round
3. The words "trust" are again non existent
4. There are places where it looks unlevel.

Reverse:
1. There seems to be another image that may have been struck into as well and when I look at it, it reminds me of the eagle on back of quarters
2. The "ited S mer" are again not visible

Now I haven't been collecting all that long, so I'm probably way off on what I'm seeing, so that's why I'm here asking for help.

to CCF. Give it a bit and members will chime in. To me your cent looks like PMD.

@mm143, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'm only seeing signs of damage--the coin being out of round, the gouge on N of CENT, worn away inscriptions, etc. are not mint errors. I'm also not seeing a die clash.
