Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 73978 Posts	Posted 10/02/2019 5:25 pm Mintmarks were punched in by hand into the dies, until 1990, so mintmark locations varied on each die. This is helpful for die variety research, as it will tell if its from a different working die or not. Ccobb, the Lincoln Wheat cent in picture #10 looks like RPM-002 on VareityVista!
