Hello. What grade would you give this 1938 nickel? I was shocked to see it in such great shape, considering it was buried with a bunch of old, low grade nickels. Thank you in advance.

Obv very baggy with minute wear. I'd say AU55, maybe a tad lower due to the large scrtach

Thank you kindly. Could poor magnification and inproper lighting cause coins to look "baggy"? This seems to be a "thing" with my coins, however, most of them do NOT have any little marks or dings on them, when looked at through 10x magnification.

Awesome, thank you. If it didn't have the big scratch across the face, then what grade would it be? I have 4 more 1938's without the scratches.

Without the scratch I think it would be in the au50-55 area it's still lightly circulated
