The 1900 is at least AU-50 in my opinion.

I dont see any wear on the 1902; if there is any it would probably grade AU-58

Is there rim damage on the 1900 from 4 o'clock to 7 o'clock?

A second question on the 1900. What is going on with the "N" in CENT? Is the area above the slant incuse or raised?

Fortcollins,

I have added a couple of photos. Rim area looks like minor Cud? I cannot make up my mind about N. looks like post mint damage.

The "N" is most-mint damage. I agree with the "technical"/"wear" grade on the coins, but the 1900 has environmental damage that looks like someone tried to remove what was, possibly, originally green. Maybe acetone was used. The green corrosion that acetone doesn't fully remove leaves it black. The 1902 looks to have the same problem, but only on the obverse. As far as the rim, it looks like PMD as well, but hard to tell for sure just by photos .. could be a Cud.

I agree with the observed grades and other comments above. That does look like two small rim Cuds on the 1900. I don't recall seeing rim Cuds on that date before. Unfortunately, the PMD on the reverse and environmental damage would likely detail the coin regardless of whether there is also rim damage.
