Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 10/07/2019 08:31 am No it isn't. I'd say it is a C-5. I think the corrosion is hiding the point of the leaf below the S. The reason I say it cant be C-1 is the leaf point below A3. ebay coin C-1 from Missouri Cabinet On C-1 the point of the leaf is below the CENTER of A3, on the ebay coin it is below the center of the left foot. The berry below the T in UNITED is in the wrong place as well. On C-4 and C-6 the leaf extends WELL beyond the second S in STATES. (On C-4 it almost reaches the O.) C-2 and 3 share the same rev, Oo it the leaf below S2 reaches a little beyond the S, but what eliminates that die is the leaf point at A2. It barely reaches it. On the ebay coin and C-5, the only variety left, the point below S2 it SLIGHTLY beyond it, and the point below A2 is comfortably below the center of the left base. One other good marker to distinguish the C1 from the C-2 (They share the same obverse with a closely spaced date) is the spacing between the U and ribbon end and the A and stem end at the bottom of the reverse. The spacing is wider on the C-1. That's what I first noticed on the one I found. Report this Post to the Staff
