Hello,
I am very new to collecting so please forgive me if I slaughter the terminology. I am wondering if this "error" makes the coin worth hanging on to or if it's not really an error at all. I hope my pictures are adequate. Thank you for your time.

Vending machines/casino machines damage that area of the coins. So they are very common to find looking like that.
