Does it stand above the flat area of the coin? If so, does is the "S" that you see raised or flat with the surface? I can't tell from the photos. I don't think it's a blundered mint mark. I've never seen anything like a mint mark in that area. ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!! coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/06/2019 5:47 pm There was no 'S' mintmark used from 1955-1967. In 1968 there were Business strike coins with an 'S' until 1974. Proof Coins started to be struck with 'S' cents from 1968 forward. So it can't be an 'S'. Report this Post to the Staff
