I happen to have two uncirculated mint coin sets from 2015 and 2016, each in an envelope with a cellophane sheet of coins inside, just like the regular annual sets. The 2015 set contains two each of colored poppy and regular poppy quarters, as well as two In Flanders Fields toonies. The 2016 set is composed of all Women's Right to Vote loonies.

What is strange to me, is not only do these sets not appear in Charlton Vol 2, but that these sets both have the Canada 150 logo on the envelope.

I'd like some info as to where and when these sets were issued. Were they produced in 2015 and 2016, the same year as the coins, or are they from 2017 as part of the Canada 150 line?

These sets were offered by the RCM for face value. Can you post a picture of the envelopes? It sounds like they were repackaged.

They don't seem to be repackaged to me; if they are, then they are made to imitate a RCM product. The envelopes carry the mint logo, Canada 150 logo, mint website, and the postal code of the Ottawa mint. Any thoughts?

That could be it, but I'm not sure how those were packaged. What you linkes there is probably the most likely possibility, however.

They weren't repackaged.
The Mint issued a number of such envelopes and cards for circulation coins (change) as a prequel for the 2017 coins.
The official 150 logo is the multi coloured maple leaf which does not appear on any of these envelopes or cards, but is seen with 2017 coins.
The bubbly leaf is one of the Mint's logos as is the stylized 150, both are for promotion of Mint products only.

Yes that makes sense. It is the regular original packaging. I thought you meant the official coloured maple leaf logo was on the packaging.
