UPDATE: The variety attribution is done! Two surprises: 1857 FE Cud. Currently the Cud is not in the variety tag on the site, but may still be on the label once I get it back. The variety tag says: "S-10 RPD". I can't believe I missed it but I do see the RPD in my pics. None of the websites I used to attribute this one link the Cud to the RPD so I didn't even think to look at the date. And apparently S-10 also has a minor DDO, I'll have to look once I get it back. Could be a RPD, a DDO, and a Cud! 1920 2 Feather: This is the only one whose variety tag still says none. Did they decide it isn't a two feather? Every submission has to have at least one disappointment, I'll let this be the one. The 1914-D Cud says "scratched" in the variety tag so it will get a details grade (which I expected). No others have a detail in the variety tag, so that might be the only details grade? Don't want to jump to conclusions but I hope that's what that means! I'll still have to wait and see if first discovery is put on the label so there will be some added excitement to opening this package. Grading still not done yet, should be any day now though.

Just realized the 1857 S-10 is FS-103. And I just looked at the CPG at the listing for FS-103, and sure enough it says that late die state examples have a reverse Cud, which is worth an additional premium. Wonder why no online sites mention there's a Cud linked to FS-103?

The coins are now marked as "completed". The 1920-D 5c has this comment: "Third feather is weak but present" I believe it's the same die as the 1920-D two feathers, but it must be too early of a die state. The Cuds I discovered will be labeled as "First Reported" according to the updated details. The 1857 Flying Eagle will also have CU-1c-1857-01R on the label. The 1994 rotated dies will also have "160 DEGREES CW" on the label.

Excellent visual overload!
Those images show how the ANACS slabs have the variety label visible without having to remove them from the box. It is really handy when trying to find something quickly.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Lovely box to get in the mail right before Christmas. Great coins and excellent grades.
This led me to check on my current ANACS submission. Sadly I always submit bizarre non-famous varieties and they have moved mine to "consultant". Fair enough, that usually happens, but adds a lot of time until I get them back so probably no Christmas box for me.
