I was wanting to see if I could get some opinions on the grade of this 1878-S Morgan I recently acquired. I noticed after I purchased it the it was a VAM 19A Torn Bonnett variety. Also I was wondering if it looks like it May be PL? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The coin was "authenticated" by ANACS but not graded.
Thank you very much for replying. I was thinking that was around the grade, but I was going off other graded examples and PCGS photograde. I will post some better pictures of the devices and fields later today.
Thanks for the replies! I really appreciate them. I was trying to make sure I wasn't off on what I was thinking grade wise. I was thinking MS65-66 and possibly proof like. Wanted to make sure it was worth sending to PCGS for grading. Looks like it definitely is.
