Can you help me know what makes it a DDO I see it looks a little thick in dates and lettering but I don't see any serifs splits, So its still hard to see to a beginner. thanks in advance. Happy CRH

It's a Class 9 DDO. This is how the newer ones are. It's mostly extra thickness with some separation lines. Trust me, I have it. Just look at this link and look at WDDO-006. http://doubleddie.com/1542214.html

Thank you JRobCC87! Research as much of the Doubled Dies as you can. It will help you a ton, when searching.

VERY nice find Errers and Varietys,
This is probably the best one for the year with WDDO-007 a close second.

Thank you levelsofmadnes! I find these things like hotcakes! They seem to be plentiful in my area. I agree that this one is the best DDO for 2015. WDDO-007 would come in 2nd place.

Nice! I got mine from Jim. I've probably been through hundreds of boxes and never found one.

Excellent find E&V. Love the "football" look to the 0 of the date.
JRobcc87- With modern shields, look for extra thickness on one side of the arm of the Y of LIBERTY and the interior of the O's of the date can show distortion making them mimic the shape of a football. Also if you look at the bottom left corners of the letters of LIBERTY, on this variety especially, you can notice how they appear angled instead of "square". John Wexler refers to these angled corners as "notched".
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
