came across this 1989 showing Die Deterioration but also showing DDR. The left dots in EPU along with the devices are much thicker and notches are found in second A in AMERICA and N's in ONE CENT. The Initials are also doubled and show thickness. could be 1989 1¢ WDDR-011

Hello CoinTheTerm

The initials are not thick enough to match (vertically speaking).
More to follow...
EDIT: the dots by EP are not oblong the same way.
the EP doesn't look right either.

I don't like any of the top half of the reverse.

As for ONE CENT, it might be lighting.

Ok I can tell you that for sure the dots are thicker and so is the initials and all of one cent. But has to be coin in hand I guess

I see a perfectly normal coin with no Doubled Die.

The dots don't look thicker to me at all. Looks like a regular coin to me.

Very nice pictures.

You are right about coin in hand. All the ones I think are doubling and get a NO VOTE, I keep until I figure out why.
Was it the pictures I posted? Or is my thinking wrong.

Lately I have been working on side by side pictures (not successful at it).

I do have a tube for cents I cant figure out. I go through that tube probably once every 4 months. I figure during that time I acquired more knowledge and might be able to figure what is going on.

Anyways... time to get back to CRH
