1970 D Quarter (5.54 Grams) - Coin Community Forum

Rkmcdaniel Valued Member United States 53 Posts	Posted 10/11/2019 8:15 pm I found this well circulated quarter in a roll of quarters. It doesn't have the normal color of a regular quarter and weighs 5.54 Grams. Just seeking out knowledge of what it could be and if worth getting graded. I am new at this and tried to capture the best photos that I could get. I appreciate any help that the forum can provide. Report this Post to the Staff

The weight seems to be close enough to the target weight of 5.67 g and the normal circulation wear and surface staining do not affect the value. I don't see a good reason to get this guy slabbed. I do like the blue effect on your images. It makes it easy to see the details in spite of the staining. I was hoping to see a "blue" closeup of the date.
