1926-D/S.-How-Rare-Is-This?

Good day everyone,

I couldn't find this error documented. Would this be a rare error? Also there looks to be a 7 located behind the 6. Any idea what the date is? Thanks for weighing in! Jon

Can you provide obverse and reverse images as well as a clear close up of the MM?

There isn't a way for us to make a determination from the single image provided. Thanks.

It might not be a bad idea to put your coin in water for a few hours and follow it up with acetone before picking away at the mint mark with a toothpick or porcupine quill. From these unclear photos it still appears that some foreign debris could cloud the resulting photo even with higher resolution shots .
