I'm a fanatic about weighing coins. So far the coins have all been about the same. Washington quarters are 5.61Grams give or take a tad

Tonight I weighed a 1970D quarter at 5.46g
And a 1996D at 5.80grams
Any input?

Looking at the info in John1's link (tolerance of +- .19 gram), the 1996d seems to be within tolerances and the '70d just barely within tolerance once you factor wear into it.
