So I had some time in my hand and decided to go through some of my coins that had been sitting for quite some time. I came across two coins that are 1973 S penny. Now the coin's are in good condition and when I placed the coin's next to each other, the face feature of Lincoln are different. Is this an error? Nose on the left is pointy. Upper lip to nose looks wider, and on LIBERTY, you can see doubling on BER. (Left penny) Report this Post to the Staff

In that grade, the rims are missing from the coin. Just one step above the lowest grade fair. So a better term might be circulated, almost uncirculated or uncirculated.
