Has PCGS or NGC ever graded any business strike coin as MS70?

With out looking it up I would have to say NO ! ,With the way Business strikes are handled from time of blank planchet to time of struct coin arriving at bank ,it's just
virtually impossible . Now watch somebody prove me wrong .

Originally I thought there were MS-70 business strikes, but a look at population reports from both services indicates that there aren't any. If one does surface in the future, I suspect that it will be worth a fortune to the registry guys.

What's the closest to 70? IIRC there do exist some graded MS69 but no 69+.

looks like the coin developed a spot and was downgraded by PCGS

Yes they have though it is insanely rare. PCGS has 2 Jeffersons (same date), 1 14-D Kennedy (not sure if that's a database error or not), like 17 ATB Quarters which were all S mint. I'm sure NGC has more than PCGS especially since they have given several hundred MS 70 to the W cents while PCGS has given 0 a 70. Most dates don't even have a 69 and many dates don't have a 68 either for clad business strike coins.
