As promised last month, the new permanent Haxby die pair numbers are now in the catalog.
Also the rarity ratings for all 248 Haxby die pairs are now published as well.
Links for all the new information is in the NEWS page. We hope this will be helpful to all the 1859 N9 collectors.

Two thumbs up to you two. Do you hear anything from your friend out in Utah?

If you mean Ed (who's in Nevada), not in a long time.

This is an amazing accomplishment. For those that may not be aware this site upgrade probably consumed hundreds of challenging hours. To all involved much admiration. Electronic catalogs are hard to beat for accuracy. Yes I am still alive out in Nevada. The last 4 years have been rather busy, and coins needed to be temp. set aside to handle other priorities, but I still read all the posts on various sites. Ed

Ed, it's great to hear from you!
Every time I work on the Haxby catalog my appreciation grows for all the effort you put into getting it up and running. It's been a real pleasure and privilege to be able to help with the work you and Jim started. Thank you!!

It's good to see that you're still alive and kicking, Ed. Do you miss Brooklyn?

Hi Bill, yes I miss Brooklyn in many ways. But, now we have rodeo, high desert climate with 300 sunny days per year, wild horses and Lake Tahoe about 30 mins away. Also many new coin shops to explore. People here are nearly as friendly as New Yorkers. Ed

Hi Ed, It's really great to hear you're still able to devote some of your time to at least thinking about the 59s! For those of you who aren't aware it was Ed's inspired counsel that convinced me to go electronic with the 1859 catalog. For that and all his other help with the catalog Ed deserves a major statue in the 1859 Hall of Fame! Jim

I think the area your in is a good area for Canadian coins Ed, I remember going through and vacationing around reno Lake Tahoe Virginia City and the road that followed gold rush trail to California. Lots of those small towns had coin stores back in the late 90's. Nice to see your doing good
