This half dollar's edge looks and feels odd. The reeding protrudes off of the face of the coin. Meaning if you ruby our finger across the face you can feel it sticking up. Also I believe there is some doubling on it as well.

I think it's finnning around the entire coin from too much pressure.

This page has a good definition.

It probably has Machine Doubling but your pictures aren't the best. To get people to answer you need to post properly oriented pictures. For something small like doubling it is also nice to have close ups of the areas in question.

OK Gincoin, I will post some closer pictures of the doubling. But when you say pressure what do you mean?

When I see the edges of the reeds, you can see they have been altered a bit. From counting machines and rolling. Thus the edge is knocked off a bit. Note the reeds on the Bottom of the last image. PSD (Post-Strike-Damage)

reeding that's rough to the touch is often found on uncirculated coins, the sharp edges have not been worn off yet

Couldn't those imperfections also be from the thin metal protrusion hitting other coins?
