I came across this in a lot of medals and I have been unable to find this example online. Is anyone familiar with this? It's about 38mm.

I've been doing this for a long time, and your medal falls within my level of expertise but I'm staggered that this is the first example I've seen. Elkington produced a great number of these extraordinarily high relief medals for the coronation of George V but this is a real discovery. I don't expect it to have a huge value, but it certainly appeals to me. The only reference catalogue that might list it is Whittlestone & Ewing.

It is indeed listed in "Royal Commemorative Medals 1837-1977 Volume 5 King George the Fifth 1910-1936" by Andrew Whittlestone and Michael Ewing". First edition published in 2012 by Galata.

They list it in quite a few sizes and metals as follows.

5075 A1 65mm AE
5075 A2 65mm Gilt AE
5075 A3 65mm AR
5075 A4 38mm silvered WM (with suspender)
5075 A5 38mm gilt WM (with suspender)
5075 A6 38mm AE
5075 A7 38mm AR
5075 A8 32mm silvered WM (with suspender)
5075 A9 20mm AE (with ring)
5075 A10 20mm AR (with ring)

All the books by Whittlestone and Ewing are worthy additions to your bookshelf.
