It looks similar to a one rupee from the Sikh Empire-The one on the right is dated VS188 something.

I agree, both are Sikh Empire silver rupees. The one on the right is dated VS 1885 (AD 1828) but this date is fictitious, actual date VS 1902 (AD 1845). It has a pataka (banner) on the obverse.

Appears to match this one, KM#22.8
