Poll Question
The 100th anniversary of the year 1916 is coming up.
1916 is a truly important year in U.S. coinage that is worthy of a 100th anniversary commemoration. The "Walking Liberty" half-dollar, the "Standing Liberty" quarter and the "Winged Liberty" (aka "Mercury") dime debuted on that year.

1916 is also the last year that all three of these denominations were changed at the same time.
So, what to issue?
1. 2016 "1916 100th anniversary 3-coin Silver Proof Set": Walking Liberty half-dollar, Standing Liberty Type 1 quarter, and Winged Liberty (Mercury) dime; all as 90% silver proofs, dated 2016.
2. 2016 "1916 100th anniversary 5-coin Silver Proof Set": The coins in #1, adding a 2016
Barber quarter and a 2016
Barber dime (90% Silver Proofs), to demonstrate the dramatic design changes that took place in 1916!
3. 2016 "1916 100th anniversary 5-coin Proof Set": The coins in #1, adding a cupro-nickel 2016-dated Proof Indian Head (Buffalo) nickel and a 2016-dated 95% copper (bronze) Proof Lincoln (Wheat Ear) Cent,
to provide a complete traditional '1¢-to-50¢' set.
4. Replace the FDR dime (for 2016 only) with a 2016-dated Winged Liberty (Mercury) dime, clad business strike for general circulation.
(After 69 years of non-stop FDR dimes, the general public would sure take notice of a brand-new
Mercury dime in their change!

) And,
it would be the first coin
made for circulation with a traditional female "Liberty" image on it since 1947!
The S.L. Type 1 25¢ design might still have some objectors as far as minting for circulation goes, and since the JFK half-dollar is no longer minted for circulation, that pretty much eliminates the possibility of a business strike 2016 W.L. 50¢
So what's your favorite idea of these?
