I have a bill book full of consecutive serial numbers, are they worth keeping? or is there certain things I should be looking for besides the consecutive numbers?

When new, mostly all paper currency is consecutive, that's just the way they are distributed. Having consecutive notes, in of itself, is neither unusual or collectible. If you're searching notes you receive in change, look here for examples of notes to keep. http://www.coolserialnumbers.com/Fa...Numbers.aspx

- the OLD myth that consecutive notes are worth a premium may have originated long ago when the idea that consecutive meant they came fresh out of a bank vault (& were thus "uncirculated.") However, there are many examples of EF-AU notes that were put in wallets and then brought out to be sold. Thus, there is absolutely zero relation between a note's condition & whether they're in consecutive order.
-However, the one exception to this rule of thumb would occur when discussing special serial numbers: Having banknotes with serials such as 9999999; 10000000 and 10000001 would obviously be a big bonus.
