Does this 1830 Capped Bust half dollar have "Large Letters"? It's very strange. It almost looks like it's double struck. On the obverse, it looks like a doubled profile or a die clash. Any help?!

Absolutely gorgeous coin but I don't see any doubling just a black shadow. It is a large letters coin, as oppose to the small letters one.

I'm a total novice at these early silver busts, so please excuse the question...

As it's a Large Letters, isn't this quite an expensive high-end rarity?

Also, it's definitely cleaned, correct?

This is NOT a large letter reverse. It's an O-113, the large letter reverse is an O-114. Compare yours to these.....

Definitely an O-113 with a rarity rating of 2 (slightly uncommon).
