I just found a 1986 quarter with missing letters on the "quarter dollar" on the back. Please help me to see if this is an error coin and should I send it for grading?
Possible Struck Through Grease Filled Dies. But what does the obverse look like? If it is normal, the it is my first suggestion. But something can leave a weakness on the reverse, is a Die Cud on the obverse. So seeing that might tell more of a story.
