This 1754 coin from Bavaria measures 33mm. I do not have the KM for it and it does not show on the Davenport as it is smaller in size.

This is the closest that I could come to it, using the Deluxe ANA Centennial Edition of the SCWC. So, ignore the pricing, it's 20 years out of date. Hopefully this can help you identify your coin. The half Thaler is the closest to 33mm that I could find.

It is a half thaler of Maximillian III Josef, KM#222. Is that a die crack on the obverse?

ElleKitty, echizento and wwhitman - thanks for the professional response and ID.

ElleKitty - whare can I find this ANA Centennial Edition of the SCWC? seems pretty comprehensive. I am primarily interested in Austrian coinage.

Thanks again!

Zohar, I picked them up at one of the local coin shows. I searched for it on Google, and it appears Amazon has some used copies for sale. It is a two volume set covering from 1700s to about 1980, every coin for every country. I'm sure it isn't infallible, as that is a huge scope, but it has been an invaluable research and identification tool for me.

Good luck. :)
