Though somewhat risky, If you can see something past the crummy photos it can work to you're advantage, I'd know. Good buy

For me personally it comes down to weighing the negative and positive probability with what can be seen from the pictures.

For this piece I know that even with the low quality pictures (sellers pics) the rim denticles are amazingly full, the coin doesn't appear to be harshly cleaned (of corse that's something that could have been the case when viewed in person).

Then finally deciding if the risk is small enough when compared to the price being payed and the likley hood of the coin being 'nice' in person.
