This was an interesting coin I bid on today. It is well documented that the 1838-O dime was the first coin minted at the New Orleans Mint. Coin is rare in gem and scarce circulated. I bid $333 but someone outbid me and got it for $5 more. Thoughts on gtade? Thanks!

It look wholesome and in EF40 or so, but with those pictures it is impossible to try to assess the condition of the surfaces, ie, cleaned or not, lustre etc.

I'd gamble on that one for EF-45 money.
