It's face value is currently 3.7 US cents. It's solid bronze, so it's worth more than that in "melt value". I'm not sure it'd still work in vending machines in Britain; they switched to plated-steel 2p coins in 1992. You could probably find lots more of them in a dealer's "3 for $1" scratchtray.

If you're wondering what the feathery thing on the reverse is, it's the badge of the Prince of Wales. The story of the badge's origin can be found on Wikipedia. The 2p coin gets a mention.
