Good morning all! While I am not a collector my son and I go through loose change hoping to find a gem. :) going through my grandfathers things I came across this. I tried to take it out of the frame but I'm afraid to try to do anything else with it it seems to be on the felt pretty good. I tried to upload the whole picture but I can't seem to resize it Help would be appreciated. The coin and stamp are together in a small photo frame. With this be worth taking to a coin dealer where is this in as seen on TV purchase and they've got both items super glued to felt in the Coin is worthless now? Lol

Probably worth more as a decorator item as it is. The nickel is only worth fifty cents or so and the stamp pretty much has no value. Makes a nice display as it is though.

LOL. That is kind of what I figured. Grandfather passed a couple of years ago and the filters came out but this was hidden in a piece of pottery. Thank you so much for your response! :)

It's a nice keepsake. I still have my grandfathers coins he picked up in his travels in WWII. They aren't worth much, but they were his which means more to me than anything else. WELCOME to CCF!!
