Is this considered a double 52 or a repunched 2 as listed in Coinsand canada? I thank you in advance for your replies.

I am showing just the date because I am wondering about the 2. Why would you need a photo of the whole coin?

It's always polite to post whole coin pics, many who view this thread have no idea what a 1952 Canadian dollar looks like.
From what we see it could be the date of a quarter, or even a foreign coin.
Often there are other markers on a coin which help determine variety.
There are more 2/2's known than those posted on coinsandcanada.
All are associated with different WL configurations which we can't see without a full coin pic.
If you post whole coin pics I will give you your answer.

Why would it be the date of a quarter when the title says Dollar. It is posted in the Canadian Variety and Error section so not a foreign coin but thanks for insulting my intelligence. I know which waterline configuration it is. I know it has no doubling of the HP. My only issue is if the 2 or the date is considered to be doubled. But I do thank you for not answering the question
